The Town Clerk’s Office serves as the center of Town government. The Town Clerk has many responsibilities, including:

  • Keeper of the Town Ordinance Book
  • Keeper of the Town Local Law Book
  • Filing officer
  • Maintenance of the Town Clerk signboard
  • Duties regarding notification of appointments of public officers
  • Duties regarding official undertakings
  • Duties regarding vacancies in Town offices
  • Licensing and permits
  • Duties regarding liquor licenses
  • Registrar of vital statistics
  • Any additional duties assigned by the Town Board
